The days of producing biscuits even if people didn't really want biscuits any more are long gone!!
Today, there's a proliferation of products and services and competition is only a click away!!
You may think your idea is fab, but how you know? How you make sure you're focusing your energy on making the right product, at the right time for the right audience and increasing your brand's value? Have you thought about getting a group of people and ask them about their attitude towards your product? What about get your customers' feedback? That can provide invaluable information about the potential market acceptance of your offerings!! Well it is not nuclear science you ask your customer with survey's this is primary research. If you want to go further then you use your customers data to understand how they behave and and not only what they tell you. Well if you want to go further then and connect the dots then you can match your behavioral data with the primary research.
In web analytics marketing research is called Voice of the Customer (VOC). It is the light version of big off-line projects market research. It can be done on a quantitative or qualitative basis and it's useful prior to new product launches to get a baseline idea of consumers' needs. So, get on!! Open a dialogue with your customers now and use surveys, comment cards, focus groups, online communities to grab potenential business opportunities, identify uncontested markets and improve your business performance!!xx!!
